I can still feel the Boots walking over me, but my favourite is “Jackson”.
Born -51 the 60-ties made me who I am today and You were always on the radio and I loved your voice. Have a great life.
Always here for you.
Hi Nancy, I wanted to send my best wishes to your mother for a happy and healthy year of life. I saw her with you in a photo a few years ago. It touches me to know that you are there for her.
I enjoy visiting this site. I continue to return to the guestbook and find great joy when I read the comments of other VN vets and see how Nancy’s kindness has touched their lives. I am further moved when I read a comment from a brother Marine. We all love Nancy. The Marines feel great love, respect and admiration for Nancy.
God bless you Nancy. Thank you for all you continue to do for our veterans. I think you may have been the first to recognize the warrior before the war.
I’ll see you at LAX before my return trip to Australia. ;~)
Easter Sunday with Francis Albert and Cid Marx, yes life is good.
Dear Nancy,
Just wanted to thank you after all the years gone by. I was wounded Jan. 23rd 1967. You were on a USO tour and visited the NSA hospital in Danang. I remembered that you came by the bed I was in and ask me if there was anyone back home for you to call. Like a fool I said no. That was a big mistake.Thank you for all you did for us GI’s. You will never be forgotten!!

Hi Nancy,
I’ve been a fan for years and have most of your music. I’m really happy they were released on cd with bonus songs. I have been trying to get a copy of a rare cd titled “Tonight you belong to me”. It comes up on ebay occasionally. Don’t worry I will continue the search. John
Nancy, TRUE STORY
This may not be the best way to contact you, but, this is one of those things in life that I have to check off.
Think back to probably 1966 when you were in Viet Nam visiting troops. I was with the Marine Corps 7th Engineer’s and you gave us a visit. We were a small group and not in a particularly safe area. You and I talked on sandbags and than the Boots… song was put on and you began to sing. There must have been about 40-marines enjoying YOU in your “beach wear”. Than about half way through the song you asked a marine to come-on-up and dance. Well, he danced with you for about five seconds before he embraced you and you both fall down on the “stage”. A couple of guys had to pull him off. You got up and handled it PERFECT. You were a real trooper. I have told story many times and I was going to send a note to your father, but, I had no address and he passed away. This is a true story and you were terrific ! (I in fact saw you get your record award at the Capital’s steps while I was having my last weekend in Hollywood before going to Viet Nam) Enjoy the rest of the trip Nancy, Tim Day
As it was said earlier on this guest book, I totally agree, that those days were the best in American music History. The “Rat Pack”, I mean, who couldn’t love your dad. He was the best. Thanks for keeping it all alive today. I have always been a fan of yours, even at my young age in the mid 60s, I loved your style and music then and even more today. On top of being, well….absolutely gorgeous. Again, I am a huge fan, and hope to see you perform, if you ever make it back to Nashville.
Frank, Dino, Sammy & the rest of the gang are now part of my life rememberances….stories that I have passed on to my children and now my grandchildren….it was a wonderful time that will never be repeated in history…..”thanks for the memories and the great times we had!”
Hi Nancy just want to thank you for all of the USO shows you performed on with Bob Hope. The Draft was ended right before my 19th birthday, but I have many friends who were in Vietnam. You are a true Patriot and Great American. The Sinatra family has contributed so much to this country in talent and generosity. God Bless you and your Dad and the rest of the Sinatra family. And to every Vietnam Vet out there I say “WELCOME HOME”……Paul B.
Hi Nancy! I own your 1966 Datsun Roadster! It still has 60,000 orig miles, and runs fantastic! Would you sign a photo of the car for me? Let me know where I can send it, I will pay all the postage. Thanks for keeping the music alive! Thanks and Regards, Dan
Nancy, You will always have a special place in my memories, as a young boy you were my first crush, and I would listen to your music for hours. After staring at your cover art I realized you really were a fantastic singer! When you sang with Lee I was so jealous, but now I truly appreaciate the wonderful voice he has and yours.
Always,
John

Hello Nancy,
I am a great fun of you and your songs of course.
I remember on 2001 driving my car all alone for three hours on the countryside listening only to your ” Boots” !
Kind regards from sunny Greece
Christ
Nancy,
I have been a fan of yours for many years.
I think that song boots are for walking is still cool!
Your Dad was great too and my Dad was a fan of his!
David
Hi Nancy. I just watched the movie \”The Wild Angels\”. Great movie and a leader in that genre. I have a question. Peter Fonda\’s bike had upswept exhaust pipes. How did you keep from getting burned when you were on the back?
Dallas loves Nancy! Beautiful and talented, I love you still. Of course \”Boots\” was my favorite, but I also love\”Summer Wine\” and played in coming to work this morning! All the girls wanted to be you and gosh we tried, but there is only one Nancy!
Was listning the first time as a child to your music and was singing to it in the late sixties. Mostly to this boots are made for walking.
My uncle got the LP from a friend who was based in Stuttgart.
Listening today quiet often to you.
When do you come to Sweden for a concert.
My six year old daughter is now listening.
Does anyone remember the Nancy Sinatra doll?
Mine was a gift from a friend in Italy. Christmas 1967.
She still has her original clothes. She came with “These Boots are Made for Walking” on a 45 rpm, gold lame outfit, complete with boots.
I wore out the record, but still have the doll.
Hi Nancy, When are you comming back to sing or appear in N.J.? We miss you…
Hi Nancy !
Just stopping by to say hello!
Joe
Hi Nancy- hope all is good with you?
It feels odd writing on here to you but I have become a bit of a fan these days and (well, I’m sure you know yourself how it is!) have been listening to you at home, on my ipod etc a lot lately.
To put you in the picture, I am 44 now (almost 45) and so I was only a baby in the 1960′s. For a long while, I associated you only with your ‘Boots’ song and your Dad but I was in MVC one day in Chichester and they were playing your album with ‘Let Me Kiss You’ on. I am a big fan of ‘The Mozzfather’ so I started to really listen. In the end, I hung around in the shop to hear the rest of the album and thought it was pretty good!
A bit more flush with cash later on, I bought a copy and have loved it ever since. You have a really beautiful voice and have the power to make me feel when you sing. Not many female singers do that to me (Lynsey De Paul, Nicola Hitchcock, Rene Diggs and Madeline Milla the exceptions) because a lot of them gimmick sing and insist on going up and down the scales (Beyonce and Mariah Carey the worst offenders! HA HA). Your kind of singing makes a guy feel that you mean what you are singing about or at the very least have got into the spirit of the song – there is something personal about your performances and I like that, you know?
See, I’m writing to you as if I’d known you for years and this is the first time we’ve ever ‘spoken’ HA HA HA I’m really glad that you decided to come back and make that one last album in 2003. I understand your family pushed you a bit and there was quite a lot of ‘go on mum’ going on. Well, I really hope that messages like this from people like me have convinced you that to make that album was a good idea? Would love to chat to you one day on here and have a million things I’d like to say but then I guess so has the rest of the world…
Lots of love to you,
xxxx
Hello Nancy,
I´m a big fan of your music.

Best greetings from Germany
Jens

Dear Nancy,
I was talking to some old friends the other day of our time on a Royal Naval research ship in the Antarctic in the mid sixties. We had an old record player and ONE record. You’ve guessed it, ‘These boots are made for walking’. No record in history was ever played more…and thoroughly enjoyed. You brough comfort to a lot of lonely sailors.
Best wishes.

I listen to your radio show on Sirrius Satellite
Channel 75. My wife and I just love the show since you give us all the background
on your Dad’s songs. Keep up the good work.
Hello Nancy
I still enjoy listening to your music. Your Dad Frank was a great singer and entertainer. He and Dean Martin were so good together on stage. All the Best!
Nancy, thanks for the hug in Jesse Brown Veterans’ Hospital (820 S. Damen near Univ. of IL at Chicago). I still use your pink coin purse and I will always wish tht Orangeat printed lipstick smear had been for real — even in daylight in public. Enough of a Navy Veteran mentally hitting the beach.
Our short conversation about Agent Orange lifted my spirits. Although I never served in combat and got exposed to Agent Orange, Glen Charles Ludban is on http://www.thevirtualwall.org and Glen pais my dues. I serve Strike Force in Jesse Brown as much as my helth permits.
I have a new DEPLETED URANIUM blog you need to see. I have been an electronics technician since 1967. I think the way I stopped spin needs publicity rather than a gag order.
Many thanks Nancy for all you did for this sailor and many of my shipmates. And may boots walk all over DU lies what they got away with about Agent Orange lies.
