Hi Nancy, I was driving home tonight and listening to you on Sirius and I remembered that I always wanted to tell you how great your father was not just as a singer but as a person. It was back in the 70′s when I got to see him the one and only time and it amazed me to see the people come and be so happy for a few hours just listening to him sing and tell stories. I said I wanted to tell him how great he was but he probably heard it all before so I thought I would write you and tell you how much happiness he brought to so many people around the world, an amazing thought in itself. One woman actually fell before the concert started and was taken to the hospital. I don’t know how she did it but she was back in a wheel chair for the end of the concert. What power he had to draw so many to him. I am grateful to have heard him live it was one of the highlights of my life. Just wanted to let you know. God bless you and your family.
That’s beautiful, Tessa. I am so happy you were able to see my dad perform. He was the best.
Oh! and thank you for listening. I thought today’s show was special.
Nancy when you coming to UK, we miss you x
Will there be a Come fly Away DVD out soon ?
I haven’t heard anything about a CD of Twyla’s show. Sorry.
I don’t believe I ever thanked you for taking my brother and me to the third game of the World Series at Dodger Stadium in 1963. I just wanted to say that as much as I’ve loved you and your fathers music through the years, it has never compared to the person I had known in you. You and your mother treated me to an afternoon steak lunch and basically ruined me for any other women. I was 10 years old at the time and still can’t recall having a more memorable time than being able to watch Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford lose to Don Drysdale … and to share lunch with two American beauties! Thank you Nancy, Tom Deam
Avid listener every Sun. Nite 5-8PM driving from Eastern L.I. to N.Y.C.
Several weeks ago U played cuts from Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood:
- List of Dreams
- Sands
- Arkansas
- Velvet
I believe the album is Fairy Tales & Fantasies.
Can not locate a CD version. Tried several on line book & record stores. No luck!
Can U direct me where I may purchase?
Thanx.
Frank H. Wolf
Hmmm… I’m surprised you can’t find it. As far as I know it’s still available at amazon.com but I haven’t checked lately. Thanks for listening, Frank!
Nancy, if I tell you you look nice in all the pictures I have seen of you (and you do; not just the ones from xx years ago or the “conventional” ones), I know you would be appreciative of such a compliment. But neither one of us would be flattened, as neither would hardly be unexpected. You want to flatten someone, tell a sister she looks nice; a sister who, for lousy reasons, I never said anything like that to before. She said it is a good thing I didn’t say something like that when we were in our teens, because she would have needed CPR.
And don’t ask me WHY I never said that before. I just finally thought, if I would say that to a celeb, let’s see if it might work even better for someone I know personally. Now, who else do I know who would like to be put out cold?
Hi Nancy,
Are you a voting member of AMPAS, NATAS, or The Recording Academy?
Also, is there any chance that you will return to Philadelphia to perform? Your World Cafe Live show was quite a success.
Regards,
John

Hi Nanc,
Hope this finds you and yours well. Happy Valentines (belated)
Guess updates were needed on this machine to post, nada last nite.
Been brushing up on my rambling run-ons and come to ask a serious question my friend… A few places today allow people to submit intellectual concepts, should I copy write before submitting, or would notarizing cover it? Registered Mail also as a safety net, yes?? Too many ideas and takes focus/discipline to get one out.
Always wanted to ask if You or Tina considered doing Tony Rome??? One of my favs with bigger props today (going after the real bad guys too)!!!!
Been searching for a comfortable hat to wear and as with most we all have many. Shifted gears and half way to a BA in photography and love the abstract in many formats. Photography being Art, does The Sinatra Foundation sponsor this area????
Point me in the true direction with a kick start (you know what I mean).
Wish I could find that damn time portal and get back to the dayz at The El Rey!! Miss miss, kiss kiss…
Much Love,
Cordially, Mickey.
How about one question at a time, Mickey.
Sure Doll whateveryousay!
Do You and Tina accept any freelance intellectual properties?
A remake of Tony Rome would be interesting with so much bigger props and special fx today.
Just your average smoe having a much needed hernia surgery who’s caught up doing a BA in photography online while recouping. Quite precarious as the hole of debt to get this piece of paper may not be advantageous as more loans are needed for proper equipment to move ahead. ERRR!
Frustrating to say the least so alternate routes are always in mind and much rather submit writings out (that need fine tuning yet)to someone familiar and trust not an issue. Do have quite a few in mind with a sociopolitical flavor, wonder what Orson would say about his Hometown or State today… WTF!?!?
Seen it decades ago and surprised at the domino effect throughout the land via Wisconsin!!!!
Have a Great Week, M.
Hi Nancy ~
Received your reply to my email. Also see that the image of Mr. Sinatra has been removed from the advertisment email. I know professional musicians who have worked with your brother over the years and have nothing but kind words and praise for the great voice he has. I did see him once at a concert and in a certain light he looks like your Dad up there on the stage. He is well respected and liked by all who have ever worked with him. The Sinatra kids were raised right. Your Dad would have been so proud. Being Italian I think we were raised with the same sense of hospitality and family and you hardly see that anymore. Anyway,I just knew it wasn’t right to give the appearance that Mr. Sinatra was the “past” and this new guy the “future” as I think was the message trying to be conveyed in the picture. Thank you for the nice reply.
God bless ~
Carmella
HI Nancy.
First, I am a serious fan.
Second, and this is a bit of ancient history. In 1984, I purchased a 1960 Porsche roadster racecar in Van Nuys, CA. The sellers name was Mike Roberts, and his shop was possibly Cahuenga Automotive Repairs. The car is pink! He told me that he, or his shop, painted your car (Firebird?) this same color of pink, and since he had paint left over, he painted the race car. He raced it some, then mothballed it. It has been in my garage since. Now I am preparing to get it running, and I can never repaint it, especially if it is the same color as your car. I know it was a long time ago, but can you recall any of this story? As long as I have owned the car, I have always called the car “Nancy”. Please take this as a compliment, because it is meant as that. I would love to know if you have any recollection of this.
Thanks, Gary L.
Hi Gary. John Delorian gave me a pink Firebird from the factory. He brought it to me himself. I didn’t change the color to pink, it arrived pink, so I think maybe somebody is messing with you. I do appreciate the compliment and I’m sorry I can’t corroborate the story. xo
Nancy I would like to say I grew up with your music and your dad I alwasy dance with my sister to your music with her mini skirt and white boots. I still listen to your records witch I have all of them. I love the one with sammy davis what I say. I still think you are the most beautiful women in the world my sister always dressed like you. and she has passed on two but I will always remember them in yoursong thank you Bill B
Oh, dear Bill. I’m terribly sorry for your loss. Continue with his tasks and dreams and he will comfort you, I promise.
Stay strong. Love, Nancy

Thanks again Bill Brown
Hi Nancy!
I wish il have something to write, but il cant found anything to ask, so il just say “Your a fantastic”
Martin from Sweden
Very nice to see you here, Martin.
Nancy, you should have your agent book you at eighter Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods casinos out here in Connecticut. You would have a big following. Mohegan has a smaller stage too.
Drummer Tim Andrew, Naugatuck, Ct
Hi Tim. I played the Mohegan Sun a few years ago. I guess they didn’t like my show because they didn’t ask me back.
Oh, well…
I have thought for a long time that you have one of the most responsible and rewarding jobs in the world. Knowing that what you do means so much to so many people must be enriching. I am always impressed with the way you end each session of “Nancy for Frank”, but this last one was one of the best. Your “Sleep warm, Etta” brought tears to my eyes. You are a loving, caring person, and it shows in everything you do. You are in my prayers to be able to continue what you are doing for many years to come.
Thanks,
Fred Scanling
Hi Fred. Thanks so much for the kind words – and thank you for listening to Siriusly Sinatra.
Hi Nancy,
I’m sure your very busy and don’t have time to answer all your
fan mail. But i just wanted tell you that I’ve had a crush on
you for a long time, I’m 59 now, and nothings changed. I bet
that you get this alot. I love your voice it’s so clear,
especially when you sing. Good heritage. You and the late Mr.
Hazlewood were the best singing duo in my opinion. Of course
singing with your father was at the top. I had most of your
albums, The first was Nancy In London. Sadly I lost my job and
had to sell them to eat. But thanks to the internet and you
Tube I can get them back. Well thank for your time.
Timothy Sears
Thanks Timothy. I’m glad the albums helped you to buy food. Thanks for writing to me.
Hi Nancy,
Check out MICHAEL RISCO on youtube.com as he pays tribute to your dad singing “Night and Day” and “Fly Me To The Moon”..I really think you’re going to like it. Closest rendition that I ever heard.
Nancy Love your Sirius show…you need to do more of them on a weekly basis. Also, nobody is a bigger FS fan than I but suggest that some of the final recordings should be selected very carefully as it does an injustice to the great body of work. Also the most refreshing male sound out there is Michael Buble and yet he is not played enough on Channel 71. It is a great channel but I think the quality should be there on every recording and minimize the mediocre.
Thanks for the suggestion, Jack.
Hi Nancy,
My name is Gonzalo and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Have you ever come to my country? I’m only 22 years old but I love your music and I can’t wait to see you live.
Thank you for your time. Take care.
Hola, Gonzalo. Mucho gusto! Gracias.
Hi Nancy,
I had the privledge to play trombone backing up your father at the Westchester Premier Theatre in 1975, 76 and 77. During the last week of May 1977, Dean Martin joined your dad in a joint weeklong concert. On May 28th, 1977, Phil Ramone came in and a video recording was produced. There is a very poor quality of this video on you tube presented by Greg Garrison Productions. In it I can make out myself playing trombone directly behind both Dean and your dad. Unfortunately, it is of such poor quality that only my family can barely tell that it’s me playing.
The band was informed that this was being taped as a momento for your Dad and Dean. Are you aware of this recording and if so is there some way that you can make it available to me so that I can have a much cherished momento of playing for your dad? I was by far the youngest musician in the band (27) and it would mean a great deal to have this as a family keepsake.
By the way, I love listening to your show on Sirius/XM.
Thank you,
Joe Petrizzo
(914)941-6150
Hi, Joe. I don’t know anything about this video but I’ll try to find out if it exists. Thanks for writing.
Joe, I meant to add that I’ll let you know and make sure you get a copy if I can find it.
Dear Ms. Sinatra, Thanks to president Reagan the iron curtain was finally pulled down some 20 odd years ago and people like me in eastern Europe finally had a chance to reach out to western culture. Yesterday by chance I discovered your website and would like to thank you for your music for all the hits and to wish you all the best and furthermore assure you that your records were smuggled in the 60′s by truck drivers in my country Bulgaria and especially one song Sugar town became a hit in my country sung by local performers in Bulgarian.
When I was little my grandfather used to play records of your father on a very old record player and those moments will be remembered forever.
Well if any of your assistants would like to write back here is my e-mail
V.Veleff@bnra.bg
By the way I am chief expert in international co-operation in the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency.
Thank you for your kindness and consideration.
Yours truly,
Valentine Veleff
Hello Vallie. I have responded via email.
Hi Nancy,
I don’t expect you to remember, we met briefly in the 90s at the Sturgis Harley Rally after you played at the Buffalo Chip Camp Ground. You signed a magazine for me that you were featured in, the music playing was loud behind us and you misunderstood the name that I gave you to sign to (that being Mike, the name you heard and wrote was Dwight) I came back and you resigned it. I mention this cause I am pretty certain this is not that common occurrence, and you could possibly remember something out of the ordinary.
The reasons I am contacting you, are several. My father just passed away in May 2011, he was a life long fan of your father. My dad spoke of seeing your dad perform many times before he even met my mother, and of course every chance he got after they married, mainly in the Philadelphia area as that is were my father grew up. As a child my father took me to see your dad twice at the Phila. Spectrum.
Dad had hopes and believed that he would one day meet Frank Sinatra, He purchased a bottle of Jack Daniels, that he refused to open it until he met Frank, as he knew that Jack Daniels was Franks favorite. Needless to say the bottle still has its seal unbroken and is older than I am as it was purchased in the late 50’s before I was born.
I am an artist, (tattooist) by trade, which is why I was in Sturgis when I saw you perform. Which leads me to the next reason. When Frank passed I knew that my fathers dreams were shattered, as he always kept that hope. So I decided to draw a painting of Frank from different phases of his life for my father, it is 20×30 inches, and took me 2 months to complete. I gave this to my father for a Christmas present. I now own both the painting and the bottle of Jack. That was once my father’s cherished possessions. Part of me wants to keep everything that my parents had and treasured, but that is impossible, with the painting and the bottle, I can keep for myself or make available for others to see and appreciate. I am just not sure how to go about it or if its something that only has meaning to me as I know the history. Just looking for direction if you think it has merit. The artwork can be viewed at http://www.rebelimagetattoo.com in the gallery page.
Respectfully, Michael Siderio
I recently recieved an email soliciting to purchase tickets to the Steve Lippia concert in CT. . WITH Frank Sinatra’s photo and Lippia’s photo side by side as if it was a photo of THEM together. Thought you should know as I must say he is just another “wannabe” out there taking credit for your Dad’s beautiful music. Wondering if use of image was licenced. Mr. Sinatra was not only a great singer and performer but a wonderful human being. My best to you.

No, Carmella, it’s sad, but true that these people never license anything they just steal. Thanks so much for caring and helping us to keep the flame.
Love,
Nancy
I was wondering if you bought or know who bought that beautiful wax sculpture of you on a motorcycle at the old wax museum. Have great memories of me and my friends singing ‘Boots’ every time we heard it on the radio. You have a great voice. Your dad had the best voice ever. Loved hearing you sing duets!
Hello, Jeanne
I’m sorry to say that what I heard was they melted it down to make a wax sculpture of Arnold Schwarzenegger. It made me sad but I got over it.
The museum is gone now anyway.
Thank you Nancy for responding. I actually was believing the melt-down:-( until I got to your smilely face. I absolutely loved that museum and being welcomed by you at the beginning of the exhibition. My friend & I didn’t know that the museum was being closed and showed up on a day when people were bidding on the wax figures. If I had the money, I would have bought YOU:-) Wish I had access to Sirius! Going to check out your shop now…
Will there be a DVD out soon, Come Fly With Me ?
Hi Nancy. I never imagined I would have the chance to actually talk to you! i’ve had a mad “crush” on you since the 60′s when I first started riding a Harley. Your music and movies were a big part of it. I still have your picture on my wall, I’m 66 now and I’m still riding a Harley, and I still have that crush and probably always will. This means more than you can imagine.
Doug.
Thanks, Doug. Maybe you can come to Rolling Thunder on Memorial Day weekend. We honor our troops and veterans every year and Harley is one of our sponsors.
Thanks for ansering my comment Nancy, this is a real kick. Sure I’d love to ride, we’ve done it locally in the past and it’s a blast to ride with so many bikes. A lot of people turn out to wave and show appreciation as we go by. Just ordered “Blue’s Theme” on CD. Gonna put it on my MP3 player along with your songs so I can play it on my bikes sound system. Thanks again, Doug.
With imagination and otherworldly desire I shall remain unknown and invisible by your side to the end of time dearest Nancy.
And by the way, I love your songs you sweetie!
Thanks, whoever you are – I think.
I was about 7 when Boots came out. I still sing a few lines of that song til this day. Unfortunately, I don’t know another thing about your life or career except what was written about what you thought or confirmed about something regarding your father. That must be tough (and sometimes nice) about being thought of in terms of who your father was. Don’t worry, I get it too, but not at the level I imagine you do. I hope you, your family, and friends are all doing well. You’re part of my fondest memories.
Take it easy, Rob
Nancy,
I hope this isn’t an inappropriate way to contact you. If so please forgive me. I heard your show on Sirius thru my new Ford Explorer. I’m a vocalist/musician here in the Bay Area that specializes in a lot of Frank Sinatra’s music and I would love to hear your opinion. Unlike other male singers who do Sinatra songs, I don’t try to impersonate him, I just try to do the songs justice in the style of Frank. When I hear guys like Michael Buble doing those old songs, as talented as he is, it just doesn’t swing like Frank or Dean or the others. I also performed with the “Fancy Sinatra’s” some years ago ago in San Francisco and would sing the Frank part when we did “Something Stupid”. I think they contacted you about doing your music. My website is http://www.joe-escobar.com as well as joeescobarjazz on Youtube and I perform locally here in the SF Bay Area. I’d love to get some feedback from you and will gladly send you my new CD if you like. We got some airplay on KCSM last year.
Thank you for your time,
Just trying to keep the old music alive…
Joe Escobar
Hiya Joe. Thanks for listening!
I have been a fan of yours for a very long time. Your music takes me back to simiplier times. I was eight years old when I
watched your TV special Movin With Nancy. I have twin boys and
my one son was able to find on You Tube a few of your viedos.
I have a cell and he knows how to use it better than I do.
I enjoyed the RC Royal Cola commercial and my son thought
you were very attractive. The other two were with Lee Hazlewood
‘Some Velet Morning and ‘Jackson’. I wish Lee was still around
the two of you seemed to have great chemisty. How was it working with him? Do you think he was one of the elements that took you
to the next level? Thank you for your time. Take care!
Thanks so much, Jackie. I’m so happy your son likes my music! Please give him my regards.
Love,
Nancy
i remember a time when you and lleee hazelwood did a concert in the cleveland flats a evening with nancy sinatra… your voice was clearer and more beautiful than any other singers in the world… i will never forget how you sang at that concert and u and lee were very nice to give autographs and talk to your fans.
i still have that autograph of u…. i just wish u the very best and whereever u are i think u have a fabolous voice,, it must run in the sinatra family … thanks and God bless
I don’t know your name but thank you for writing to me.
